The Fife Islamic Centre — Noor-e-Madina Mosque — has been a cornerstone of the Muslim community in Glenrothes since 2008.
Located at 786 Poplar Road, Glenrothes, KY7 4AA, our centre has grown from a humble prayer hall into a comprehensive Islamic institution dedicated to the spiritual, educational, and social welfare of Muslims across Fife and beyond. We serve hundreds of families from diverse backgrounds — Pakistani, Bengali, Arab, Somali, and many more — united by faith.
Our mosque provides daily congregation prayers, Friday Jumuah khutbah in both English and Urdu, dedicated Morning and Evening Duas resources, full Ramadan Taraweeh programme, Eid prayers, Nikah (Islamic marriage) services, and compassionate support for families through bereavement and Islamic funeral rites (Janazah).
Our Islamic Education Programme includes after-school Quran and Maktab classes for children aged 5–16, adult Tajweed circles, women's Islamic studies, youth programmes, and regular community talks and seminars by visiting scholars.
We believe in serving the wider Glenrothes community through interfaith dialogue, charity work (Sadaqah), and social welfare initiatives. Our food bank partnership, winter shelter programme, and community outreach reflect Islam's emphasis on compassion, generosity, and service to humanity.
